Teacher of German Language (with an additional subject)

We are seeking a Secondary School German Teacher who can combine German with another subject area such as Science, Humanities, Math, or English.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Ostrava, ideal for an educator who is passionate about both language acquisition and holistic student development within the International Baccalaureate framework.

The role includes:

  • Teaching German alongside an additional subject
  • Designing engaging, inquiry-based lessons
  • Assessing student progress and supporting academic growth
  • Creating an inclusive and motivating learning environment
  • Supporting students’ personal development and well-being
Essential Requirements:
  • relevant university degree in German and the additional subject area
  • Teaching qualification (or eligibility to teach at secondary level)
  • Strong English proficiency (working language in an international school)
  • Previous teaching experience with secondary-aged students (IB experience is an advantage)
  • A student-centered mindset and strong collaboration/communication skills

SEN / EAL Teacher (Learning Support Specialist)

Our students thrive when they feel understood, included, and empowered to succeed—academically, socially, and emotionally. We are seeking a dedicated SEN / EAL Teacher who will provide targeted support for students with diverse learning needs and those developing English as an additional language.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Ostrava, ideal for an educator who believes in inclusive education, differentiation, and high expectations for every learner within the International Baccalaureate framework.

The role includes:

  • Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and English as an Additional Language (EAL)
  • Planning and delivering small-group and individual interventions
  • Collaborating with classroom teachers to ensure differentiation and inclusion
  • Contributing to student support plans and progress monitoring
  • Working closely with families and the wider school support team

Essential requirements:

  • relevant university degree in Education, Special Education, Language Teaching, or related field
  • Recognized teaching qualification (SEN/EAL specialization is an advantage)
  • Strong English proficiency (working language in an international school)
  • Previous experience supporting students with SEN and/or EAL needs
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and student-centered mindset

IB MYP & DP Science Teacher

Our students need an inspiring educator who can make science rigorous, relevant, and deeply engaging — guiding them through the conceptual depth of the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the academic challenge of the Diploma Programme (DP).

We are seeking an IB MYP & DP Science Teacher who is passionate about inquiry-based learning, experimental work, critical thinking, and high-quality assessment aligned with the International Baccalaureate framework.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Ostrava, ideal for an educator who values both academic excellence and student well-being, and who thrives in a collaborative international school environment.

The role includes:

  • Teaching Science in the IB MYP and DP (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and ESS)
  • Planning and delivering engaging, concept-driven and inquiry-based lessons
  • Designing meaningful assessments and providing constructive feedback
  • Supporting students’ academic growth and personal development
  • Contributing to curriculum development and interdisciplinary collaboration

Essential requirements:

Early Years Specialist

Our youngest learners deserve a caring and inspiring educator who understands that early childhood is the foundation for lifelong learning. We are seeking an Early Years Specialist who creates a nurturing, inquiry-based, and stimulating environment where children feel safe, confident, and curious.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Ostrava, ideal for an educator passionate about early childhood development and holistic learning within the International Baccalaureate framework.

The role includes:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, play-based and inquiry-driven learning experiences
  • Supporting children’s social, emotional, and academic development
  • Creating a warm, inclusive, and structured learning environment
  • Monitoring and documenting student progress
  • Building strong partnerships with families

Essential requirements (5):

  • relevant university degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Recognised teaching qualification for early years
  • Strong English proficiency (working language in an international school)
  • Previous experience working with early years children (IB or international experience is an advantage)
  • A nurturing, patient, and student-centered approach with strong communication skills
