Twice yearly, TOIS surveys it students to determine which kind of clubs they would like to participate in.
During the time of COVID-19, many of these may be suspended, re-scheduled or cancelled.
We strive to have our young learners enjoy meaningful after-school clubs that have recently included: Robotics, Little Artist, Zumba Dancing, Drama, and Lego – Little Bricks clubs.

Primary School students have a wide variety of age-appropriate activities they can join in, and we are always looking to add clubs suggested by the Student Council. Over the past several years, clubs have included: Football, Basketball, Photography, Lego, German, EAL, Reading, Arts & Crafts, Korean Lessons, Traditional Korean or Chinese Painting and Calligraphy, Line Dancing, Yoga & Mindfulness, Ukulele, Guitar, Music and Dance clubs.

At Secondary, MYP and DP students participated in Student Council, Student Sports Association, Crispy! Magazine, Chess, Basketball, Football, Science, Board Games, Dance, Math, Art, Music, Duke of Edinburgh, Yearbook, and Drama clubs.

Since TOIS is located in the centre of Ostrava, it is fortunate to have a large number of local facilities and organisations dedicated to working with young people nearby. These are non-TOIS programs, but may still be of interest to young people looking to integrate a little more closely with the local community. Facilities include the local Free Time Centre, the Swimming Centre, various sports clubs, including hockey, basketball, volleyball, and tennis, as well as the Ostrava Science & Technology Park, the Ostrava Museam, and the Ostrava Zoo, etc…
